141. Learning skills - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Get the advanced to lvl 4 is my recommendation. Boring As hell, but then you don't have to bother with them for quite a while. ----------------------------------------------- My Band's new Demo: Linkage to Torrent

First of all, do the tutorial. Then read the Player Guide, right up here to the left. Learning skills is of course recommended. Get them all and train them to lvl 3. Important attributes for combat characters are Perception and Willpower, but a b...

148. Target painter? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Painters increase sig radius on the target. 1. Smaller ships are getting hit more often with turrets (and for more damage) 2. Bigger missiles hitting smaller ships does more damage. Target Painter is affected by Target Painting (of course), Fre...

149. Fried's random inane questions: Afterburners and you - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I did knew about the MWD sig radius before, I just figured the AB doubled the sig radius (NM that now). Must have seen it somewhere, or imagined it. ABs DO add Mass to the ship when activated. More mass = Worse Acceleration ----------------------...

Good Idea, actually. I'd like a readout, too. That means, I'm getting a "list" of what's going on, on the ship, when all relevant modules are activated. Effective cap/sec and all resistances at their appropriate lvl. Velocity and acceleration wou...

153. Fried's random inane questions: Afterburners and you - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
First of all. You get better range with Rails, go for rails, and keep distance. Destroyers have quite good range after RMR. 1. Afterburner at least doubles your sig radius when it's activated, hence the can of whuppass opened on you. Keep distanc...
